Safety and Emergency - The 25th Safe Production Month

This June marks the 25th "Safe Production Month" nationwide, with the theme of "Everyone Talks about Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies - Investigate and Rectify Risks and Hazards". In order to thoroughly implement the national decisions and deployments on safety production work, effectively enhance the safety awareness of all employees, and improve emergency response capabilities, our company actively responded to the call, carefully organized and meticulously deployed around the theme of the event, comprehensively carried out a series of rich and diverse publicity and education activities as well as hazard investigation and rectification activities, promoting the safety concept to be deeply rooted in people's hearts and building a solid defense line for enterprise safety production.

I. Tracing history and keeping the original intention in mind: from "being safe" to "wanting to be safe"

The establishment of the Safety Production Month stems from a profound reverence for the supreme value of life. In 1980, to effectively curb major and serious safety production accidents, with the approval of the State Council, ten departments including the State Economic and Trade Commission and the State Construction Commission jointly initiated the nationwide "Safety Production Month" campaign. In 2002, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the State Administration of Work Safety, and other departments summarized experience and officially designated June as the "Safety Production Month", which has been continued to this day. In 2026, we are welcoming the 25th Safety Production Month, which is not only a routine publicity event but also a profound baptism of safety culture. The theme of this year's event, "Everyone Talks about Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies - Investigate and Rectify Risks and Hazards", emphasizes not only institutional constraints but also awareness awakening. Safety is not a rule to be passively observed, but a responsibility to be actively upheld. When every employee shifts from "being told to be safe" to "wanting to be safe", and when investigating hazards becomes a daily habit, safety will truly become ingrained in their blood and become a solid foundation for enterprise development.

II. Prioritize publicity and create an atmosphere: make safety visible, audible, and memorable

To foster a strong safety culture, our company has taken the lead in launching the "Safe Production Month" promotional campaign. Prominent banners and posters have been hung in production areas, at the factory gates, and in workshop passageways. Special display boards for the "Safe Production Month" have been set up in the bulletin boards, showcasing activity plans, channels for reporting hidden dangers, typical accident cases, and safety slogans, subtly educating employees on safety. Additionally, the company has innovatively established a "Safety Snap Shot" column, encouraging employees to use their mobile phones to capture safety hazards around them and upload them to the internal platform. Once verified, rewards will be given. This initiative has greatly stimulated employees' enthusiasm for participating in safety management, truly realizing the concept of "everyone is a safety supervisor, and there are supervision eyes everywhere". Furthermore, the company organized all employees to watch warning educational films such as "Danger Coming" and "11 Common Safety Hazards in Different Job Types", analyzing the causes of accidents through real-life cases and sounding the alarm with bloody lessons. At the same time, an online learning activity called "Open Class on Public Safety" was launched to promote the safety concept into everyone's mind.

III. Investigation and rectification, closed-loop management: leaving no dead ends, not going through the motions

Potential hazards are the breeding ground for accidents. To effectively prevent risks, our company has organized a "comprehensive" safety hazard investigation campaign, covering workshop equipment and facilities, warehousing and logistics, electrical wiring in office areas, fire protection systems, as well as temporary work sites, construction areas, commuter vehicles, and other non-fixed locations, to ensure that no blind spots or dead ends are left unchecked. For identified hazards, we strictly follow the "four-determination" principle (determining the plan, determining the funds, determining the responsible person, and determining the rectification deadline) to establish a ledger, implement closed-loop management, and conduct "look-back" inspections to ensure rectification. At the same time, in accordance with the requirements of "five implementations and five in-place" for safety production responsibilities, we will press down on the responsibilities of management personnel at all levels and promote the implementation of principal responsibilities.

IV. Empowering through Drills, Enhancing Capabilities: Promoting Prevention through Training, Building Security through Drills

To enhance employees' emergency response capabilities, our company has formulated a detailed emergency drill plan and organized practical drills for emergency evacuation and risk avoidance. The drills simulated a sudden fire scenario, from alarming, evacuation, assembly to headcount, with the entire process being tense yet orderly. Employees responded quickly and acted in a standardized manner, achieving the expected results. Through the drills, not only was the feasibility of the emergency plan tested, but also employees' self-rescue and mutual aid abilities in emergency situations were enhanced, truly achieving the goal of "everyone knowing how to respond in an emergency".

V. Safety has no end, responsibility always rests on our shoulders
There are no bystanders or final destinations in safety production. Although this "Safety Production Month" activity is nearing its end, safety work is always on the road. Our company will take this activity as an opportunity to continuously deepen the construction of safety culture, solidify the hidden danger investigation mechanism, carry out education and training and emergency drills on a regular basis, and promote the transformation of safety management from "periodic rectification" to "long-term governance". Let us jointly guard the red line of life and build a solid foundation for high-quality development of enterprises with the consciousness of "everyone talking about safety" and the ability of "everyone knowing how to respond to emergencies".
